New Life Animal Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization made up of a network of loving foster homes.

All of our rescued animals are fostered in a home with a family, giving us the ability to evaluate them and determine the best home situation for each pet. Our fostered pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, micro-chipped, behavior-evaluated, up to date on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives, and treated for any illness or injury. Pets in need of dentals or any surgery will also receive this care from our specialized veterinarians prior to adoption.

PLEASE NOTE: We want to insure the best match for both our foster pet and your family, so we have developed a thorough application process including reference checks and a home visit which includes meeting all household members.

We will check all references.

We will contact veterinary references whether you currently have a pet or have had a pet in the past, and we inquire about all pets, whether or not you list them.

If your pet has not been seen consistently or has not been spayed/neutered (unless medical condition prevents) we will not be able to consider your application for adoption.

The first step in adopting one of our rescued pets is to complete our application. Once you have submitted the application, we will review it and check your references.

If everything looks good, we will contact you to go over your application and answer any questions we (or you) may have.

At that point, if we feel our fostered pet could be a match, we will schedule a home visit where we bring the pet to you, so that the entire family, including any other pets, can meet him / her!

*Please note: We do attempt to limit adoptions to within a one-hour radius of our southern NJ area, so that we can conduct our own home visits and any potential follow-up. Please understand that we have this policy in place so as not to be away from the other pets in our care for too long.

We thank you in advance for understanding!
